God's Timing

And, to be honest I actually was not thinking about it at first. I told everyone after undergrad that I “wasn’t doing no more school” lol (which I didn’t for a brief period) and I’m glad I chose not to. Here’s why…

That old saying, “If you don’t go now, you won’t later”, is a MYTH! The actual truth is this: “If you want to go, you will”. So, if the desire to go is truly not there then there’s a high probability that 1) it’s not relevant to your life’s journey or 2) it’s not TIME yet! Wooo! 😬

Who’s clock are you on? Is it God’s timing or the world’s? Like, who said if you don’t _______ now, you never will!?

We know the enemy loves to “rush” our process, as if we’ll miss out on something that isn’t checked off right away. What he won’t tell you is that his pressuring you to do the “right” thing at the wrong time is purely intended for your destruction. The TIMING of things MUST be considered! There are some things concerning you that are for now and some things that are for later (and others, are never). Now which of these it is, is for YOU to discern.

Understand that God has set a pace for you! So, if anything is on your path, He will lead you to it in HIS perfect time. Also, don’t worry about those things in your past that you feel you did “miss out on”. If it was in fact God who presented it to you, guess what? He is faithful and persistent. He will still guide you in the direction that you are pre-destined to go. Pace yourself because the promise is still on the path.

Finally, remember this: “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is PATIENT with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9

God is in PERSISTENT PURSUIT of you. Stay faithful and nothing he has for you will miss you.❤️
